Skore: End User License Agreement

The ground rules for using Skore. Your rights as a user, what you can do with the software, and our responsibilities to you.

01 Definitions

Privacy Policy: Probabl's privacy policy available at /legal/privacy-policy.
Probabl / We: French entity registered under number 979 093 523 (Paris Trade Register), 10 Rue de la Bourse, 75002 Paris, France.
User / You: Any person who subscribes to, accesses, or uses the Service.
Service / Skore Hub: The Skore Hub web-based service and all related features.
Skore Lib: The open-source Python library component, available on GitHub.
Content: Any information, data, text, software, graphics, or other materials.
User Data: Includes User-Submitted Content (metrics, plots, models, datasets, presentations) and Usage Data (performance and usage monitoring data collected during interaction with the Service).
Personal Data: Has the meaning given in the Privacy Policy.
Trial Period: The 30-day free trial period beginning on your first access to the Service.

02 License Grant

2.1 Skore Lib License

Skore Lib is licensed under the MIT License, granting permission to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies, subject to the MIT License terms.

2.2 Skore Hub Trial License

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Probabl grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Skore Hub solely for evaluation purposes during the Trial Period.

2.3 Restrictions

You may not:

Copy, modify, create derivative works, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
Rent, lease, loan, sell, sublicense, distribute, or transfer the Service or your access rights.
Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Service.
Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or offensive purposes.
Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or any related systems or networks.
Store or transmit malicious code or any unlawful material.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

03 Trial Terms for Skore Hub

3.1 Trial Period

The Service is provided free of charge for the Trial Period of 30 days from your first login. Paid plans may follow after the Trial Period under separate terms.

3.2 Service Level During Trial

During the Trial Period, the Service is provided on a "best effort" basis without any service level guarantees or warranties.

3.3 Support

Basic technical support is provided via email at legal@probabl.ai or through the platform during the Trial Period.

04 Data Handling and Privacy

4.1 Data Collection

Probabl collects the following categories of data when you use the Service:

User-Submitted Content submitted via skore lib or the hub interface.
Usage Data generated during your interaction with the Service.
User identity information processed through our ORY partner.

4.2 Data Usage

Probabl will not use your data to train its machine learning models or for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

4.3 Data Retention

If you do not use your tenant for 90 days following the end of the Trial Period, all your User Data will be deleted. System logs are automatically expired and removed after 90 days.

4.4 Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is subject to the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

05 User Obligations

5.1 Account Information

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5.2 Compliance with Laws

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights.

5.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, or otherwise transmit through the Service.

06 Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

Probabl and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all intellectual property rights. This Agreement grants you no rights in the Service except as expressly stated.

6.2 Feedback

If you provide Probabl with any feedback or suggestions regarding the Service, Probabl shall be free to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

6.3 Your Content

You retain all rights to your Content. By using the Service, you grant Probabl a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, and display your Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service to you.

07 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. PROBABL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PROBABL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

08 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Probabl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or the use of the Service.

Probabl's total liability to you for any claims arising under this Agreement shall not exceed the amounts paid by you, if any, during the 12 months preceding the claim.

09 Term and Termination

9.1 Term

This Agreement commences on the date of your first access to the Service and continues until terminated.

9.2 Termination by You

You may terminate this Agreement at any time by ceasing all use of the Service.

9.3 Termination by Probabl

Probabl may terminate this Agreement without notice if you breach any provision of this Agreement.

9.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11 will survive any termination of this Agreement.

10 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

11 General Provisions

11.1 Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Probabl regarding the Service.

11.2 Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11.3 No Waiver

Probabl's failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

11.4 Modifications

Probabl may modify this Agreement at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Agreement.
